New Wave of Vegans - Getting Enough B Vits?

I have a mainly plant based diet but it's super important to get enough B Vits in your diet and that's true whether you're vegetarian or not!  Signs of deficiency can be tiredness, sore mouth, tongue, throat, ulcers that recur or won't heal, lethargy, candida overgrowth, palpitations and more.

It can come on very slowly until signs begin to show up physically, like ulcers on the tongue but probably the first sign of B vit deficiency is a feeling of not having quite so much energy as usual.

B Vits are plentiful in meat, fish, organ meats and eggs so if you aren't eating these then ensure you have enough from plant foods such as beans & lentils, seeds & nuts, leafy greens and fruits including avocados.  B12 is a common deficiency for vegetarians but B vits across the board can be in short supply if you don't plan carefully so do your own research and top up your diet with B supplements if necessary.
