Happy 'Tapping'

We perhaps can't be happy all the time but we can certainly try!  One of my tools for staying in the positive is Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT,  often known as Tapping.    If you don't know how to do it, come and learn with me... 

Tapping is a self-help therapy where we Tap on meridian points in the face and body to affect energy changes and thought patterns.  I like to think of it as editing my thoughts, beliefs and behaviours so that I can stay open, positive and ready to embrace the new and the better.  

For example, there is a meridian point on the side of the hand - the small intestine meridian - which helps release stuck energy in the body when we Tap on it. It works in a similar way to accupuncture but without the needles!

We don't always know what it is we need to change or embrace, which makes this therapy even more useful, as it taps deep down into the subconcious mind.  We run on automatic most of the time but we perform much more successfully if we are able to spend more time in conscious thought and action. Tapping helps you do that.
